Love Is... Unity by The Spirit
Listen Objectively; Value Everyone In Sight/InSights...
Perfected in Love...
Throughout time, mankind has sought to know the Source of Life, to find purpose and meaning in their own lives, and to be loved.
We believe that all three of these ideals/desires are attainable. We believe that Love Is not only the most basic emotion; but that Love Is the basis of all being.
The acts or experience of loving and being loved nourish and strengthen the inner man, the spirit, which in turn regenerates and renews our soul, mind, and body.
"By this we know that we abide in Him and He in us, because he has given us of His Spirit.
And we have beheld and bear witness that the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.
Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.
And we have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is Love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.
By this, love is perfected with us, that we may have confidence in the day of judgment; because as He is, so also are we in this world.
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love.
We love because He first loved us.
If someone says 'I love God,' and hates his brother, he is a liar for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen.

Perfected in Unity...
Wouldn't life be truly amazing if we could fully comprehend and believe Jesus' prayer: "And the glory which Thou has given Me I have given to them; that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them, and Thou in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, that the world may know that Thou didst send Me, and didst love them, even as Thou didst love Me."2

Wouldn't it be wonderful...
Can you imagine the change in our lives, in the entire world, If we could all just get along, and if we would all sing together... "We are One in The Spirit, We are One in The Lord. And we pray that all unity may one day be restored. And they'll know we are Christians by our Love, by our Love, Yes they'll know we are Christians by our love." This is part of the 1st verse and the chorus of They Will Know We are Christians by our Love © Peter Scholtes, 1966.
What is Love?
The most beautiful description we've read is:
"Love is patient, love is kind, and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."
--Paul in I Corinthians 13:4-7
"Love is considered the most basic emotion that human awareness can feel; therefore, it is the closest to the source of life."
--Deepak Chopra in Ageless Body, Timeless Mind
2B1 - To Be One...
"For this reason, I bow my knees before the Father, from whom EVERY FAMILY IN HEAVEN AND ON EARTH derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man; so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fulness of God."
-Paul in Ephesians 4:14-19
"...to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing forbearance (humility) to one another in love, being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."
"There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all."
-Paul in Ephesians 4:1-6
"Now I exhort you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all agree and there be no divisions among you, but you be made complete in the same mind and in the same judgment."
-Paul in 1 Corinthians 1:10
"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."
-Jesus in The Holy Bible, John 13:34-35
